My favorite planet in astrology is Saturn. I have the utmost respect for Saturn and what it stands for. It is often demonized, because it is misunderstood; people mistake the “lessons” of Saturn to be the “torture” of Saturn, but I look forward to learning, growing. These lessons will be harsh, but one must understand that it is the most difficult of teachings and lessons that are what promote genuine growth. If we had it easy in life without the hardships of Saturn to ground us–without lessons or mistakes to learn from, we wouldn’t grow as dynamically, resiliently or wisely. Not to mention without Saturn, without the structure of the chart, the other malefics would take over…Neptune will dissolve & deceive you. You won’t even see Uranus coming, its effects are sudden and quick as lightning. Pluto will tear down an intimate part of you, over and over and over again. We need Saturn’s earthiness to ground and guide us to clarity.
